Sarona, journey to the Templar's period

The Templars arrived from Wittenberg in Germany, headed by Christoph Hoffman. Messianic community that built the people of God in Jerusalem. They came from the Lutheran Church and arrived to Israel, in order to help the arrival of the Messiah. They believed that the Temple is in their heart.

Sarona were establish in 1871, the third Templar colony in Israel, years before Neve Tzedek and Ahuzat Bait of Tel Aviv.

The colony was beautiful, close to the road from Jaffa to Nablus.

We will talk about the dream, walk between the houses that were renewed, and talk about the past of the people.

The place that started as religious German colony, taken by the British, then by the Israeli regime known as the Kiriah, and mainly secret. A place that became to be a for culture, delicious food, and entertainment.
